More Guild Members in Beta!

With the recent batch of EU invites, many of our members who already were set to join in Guild Beta have receieved an individual invite! As a result, by the time Guild Beta finally comes, we will have 36 members in beta.

Guild Beta

Eva Vix has been chosen this morning to participate in the beta by GOA, who offered us 30 slots. Combined with the 2 members already in beta due to sheer luck, thats 32 EV members who will soon be roaming, testing, and owning in WAR.

A big thanks to Mythic and GOA for their confidence in us, allowing more than 60% of our members to be in the closed beta phase.

We were pleasantly surprised upon this show of confidence by the companies, since all other guilds of our size whom we know about are only given sufficient slots to cover 10-20% of their member base.

Naturally, we won't let Mythic or GOA down in terms of suitablity and contribution to the beta.

Recruitment is open from Monday-Friday (06/07/07 - 10/07/07)

The amount of people we recruit is entirely dependant on the quality of applications received.

A lot of time is spent processing any applications , partly due to our two-part application procedure. This is a time consuming task on part of both the applicant and the guild members, who will research backgrounds, discuss applications, conduct interviews, etc.

Due to this, and the large amount of applications we received during the past week, we have closed recruitment until further notice. If you are still interested in applying, you may begin writing up an application and post it as soon as we open recruitment again. Any application posted while recruitment is closed will be deleted.

Eva Vix wins ventrilo competition

A while back, a WAR guild set up a competition onhttp://www.warhammeralliance.com which some of our members took part in.

I'm proud to announce that Corian achieved first place in the competition by a landslide and we now have a new Ventrilo server. Thanks to the Enlightens guild for organising this for the WAR community.

Access to Forums

Several people have asked me why our forums are private and not avaliable to be read by the general public.

The answer to that question is that people don't tend to express their true opinions on subjects if their opinion is open to be read by anybody. Making the forums private and avaliable to guild members only allows everybody to express whatever opinion they may have under the assurance that only their fellow guild members will have access to the material they post.

However, that said, if you wish to have access to our forums for any legitimate purpose, just PM/Email me (tell me who you are), and I'll gladly give you access.
