Will Eva Vix be on U.S. or E.U. servers?

Eva Vix will be playing on the E.U servers, and will only be accepting players who live in regions that deviate from Greenwich Mean Time (London time) by up to 2 hours, as this will allow members to log on at the same time and attend guild events.
(i.e. people who live in regions between GMT-2 and GMT+2)

How does the guild view "role-playing"?

While the guild does not either discourage or encourage role-playing, members are expected to make in game decisions on career and race based purely on statistics and the RvR/PvP benefits of the choice, with role-playing and aesthetics as a secondary concern at best. While some role-players may not find this to be restricting, we believe that the majority will find it limits one's ability to role-play.

How large will the guild be?

We are unsure at this point in time as to exactly how large we wish to grow. We would ultimately like to strike a balance between a point where we are small enough that we can feel a community spirit buzz (which we feel is necessary to create a good PvP guild), but large enough to have enough members on for PvP at all times. An estimate would be approximately 50 members, but that will be subject to change - much depends on how large the PvP groups are in-game.

Is this an Order or Destruction guild?

Eva Vix is a Destruction guild.

Will the guild limit the races members can play?

No. The guild needs professions from all the races on Destruction, since class balance in a PvP guild is very important. Before the game is released, members will be asked to make a choice as to which profession and race their character will be, so we can strike a balance between all the professions.

Can I add all of my characters to the guild or only my main character?

All of each members characters will be accepted into the guild, but we ask that you focus on one character as the one you play on the most, since this is the character you will use in PvP groups.

Why the name 'Eva Vix'?

Eva Vix (roughly translatable into the Vernacular as Victory in All Walks of Life or more simply Ever Victorious) was chosen as the name because it suits our guild's philosophy - to be the BEST at PvP. This we hope to achieve by first creating a community spirit amongst members, and then devising advanced tactics, analyzing character builds, learning the PvP regions, and other activities you would expect in a professional PvP guild.

Do you have a forum and/or voice chat servers?

Currently, we have a forum established, through which most of the communication between members will take place, and through which important guild announcements and discussions will be made. All members are expected to check the forums regularly, on a daily basis in order to participate in discussions and read the comments made by others. Good communication between members is critical to the success of a guild, and regular forum browsing can make all the difference.
We have established a Ventrilo Server for our members - 50 slots.

Is this a Hardcore or Casual guild?

This is a professional hardcore guild. While members are not expected to be on 24/7, they are expected to be on quite often - at least often enough to participate in guild events. If logging on for a bit of a laugh for 20 minutes and the logging off and never thinking about the game until the next logon is the sort of thing you enjoy, you will not find Eva Vix to be a suitable guild.

What are the ranks within the guild? How is it structured?

The structure of the guild is simple, and the ranks are as follows:

Officer
Member
Recruit (trial member, who will be assessed in order to make sure they are suitable for the guild)

The structure may well develop into something more elaborate, but by keeping it simple, it is also extremely effective. The guild master and officers will work along with members to make Eva Vix a better guild, with everybody contributing.

What are the rules of the guild?

The basic rules are as follows:

-Members will not abuse other members of the guild. If there are any problems, the issue will be brought to an officer to deal with.
-No racism.
-Members will not leech off the guild, whilst not contributing. Members who are found to be doing so will be kicked.
-Members will not use bots, hacks, or gold selling websites.
-Members will not promote their individual opinions as guild opinions.
-Members should actively attempt to contribute towards the guild, and maintain a respectable guild atmosphere.
-Members should participate in guild events unless they have problems attending it due to real life issues. Members who are logged on and chose not to attend guild events will be observed more closely in future to determine whether they should remain in the guild. If you do not enjoy playing with the guild, you should not join it in the first place.

Naturally, just because something isn't covered by the rules listed here, it does not necessarily mean we sanction it. Just act with common sense really, that’s all there is to it.

Why should I join Eva Vix?

It is, and will always be, our intention to bring Warhammer online players a professional and well administrated guild. This is the main reason why we have established ourselves slightly less than a year before the games release, so that we would have time to get to know each other, set down structures for how the guild will work and iron out any issues before we start playing the game.

How do I contact the guild about joining?

Go to the forums and read the instructions in the "Applications" forums. You will be asked to post an application either via the public forums or via a personal message/email to an officer.
